Israel-Hamas Truce: Mediator Qatar Announces key points

Israel and Hamas’ four-day truce is set to begin on Friday at 7am local time in Gaza. Majed al-Ansari, the spokesperson for Qatar’s foreign ministry lays out the main points of the deal.

The truce will last as agreed till four days. The first of civilians to be released from Gaza will around 4 pm of the same day. They will 13 in number and all women and children. Those hostages who are from the same families will be put together within the same patch.

The total number of the agreed persons is 50 that will be released within the four days. While talking the spokesperson said that about the Palestinians released from Israel is not clear so far. But, he said, according to the deal both the sides will release hostages.

The Humanitarian Aid is the integral part of this deal, he said. He was expecting that the aid shall start from 7 am while crossing Rafah.

The deal is subject to second phase and further following phases, the Spokesperson expected.

In the expanded deal, more hostages shall be released from both the sides. He said, we hope further deep negotiations to end this conflict.
