Pakistan and China to Conduct Fourth Round of Strategic-Dialogue

Pakistan’s Foreign office issued a statement of information about the two-days official visit of Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang which is scheduled from 5th of May, 2023.

Gang is visiting Islamabad to conduct fourth round of Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue with his Pakistani counterpart Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The previous meeting of the said dialogue was held in Chingdu, China in July, 2021.

The Possible aims of the coming Strategic-Dialogue:

  • a.      Reviewing bilateral cooperation in key areas including security and economy.
  • b.     Reaffirmation of the time-tested Sino-Pak strategic partnership.
  • c.      Development of the roadmap for cooperation in multi-dimensional fields.
  • d.     Exchange of views on changing regional and global dynamics of World Politics.
  • e.      Highlight the importance of Sino-Pak relations and further strengthening this cooperation.
  • f.       Both the states, as mentioned in their press releases about the visit that they hope the meeting will increase understanding between the two friends, further deepen strategic communication and cooperation, promotes commonalities for shared future endeavours and targets, as well as contribute their share and positive energy in the development of the region and wider world.
